No. 03 / The Shop

Why an in-person hobby shop still matters.

You can buy a kit online. You cannot ask a screen which thinner to use with which paint, or whether the decals on a forty-year-old box are still going to lay down clean. That is the part we do well.

Our store on Kenilworth North stocks what a working modeller actually reaches for. Tamiya acrylics next to Vallejo. Estes engines in the case behind the counter. A wall of Bachmann rolling stock for the train layout that has been growing in your basement since 1998.

Walk in, talk it through, leave with the right thing. That is the whole shop.
